Patrick Owens Covered Bridge

The Patrick Owens covered bridge, just south of Fredericton, is the only covered bridge in New Brunswick to feature a full-length window along one side of it. Built in 1909, it’s 70.4 metres long (236 feet) and is located along the Rusagonis River.

Simpson Falls

Explore the 18km out-and-back trail located near Fredericton Junction. It is a moderately challenging route that usually takes around 4.5 hours to complete. This trail is perfect for hiking, running or walking.

Gornabilly Tubing

Float down the Rusagonis River and witness the beauty of the nature with Gornabilly Tubing! The perfect summer adventures for families and friends, Gornabilly Tubing offers tube rentals seasonally from June 17 to mid-September each year. The ride takes anywhere between 2-4 hours to complete (depending on water levels). Reservations via email in advance are required.

Looking to kayak? Kayak rentals are $25 per hour or $75 for a 4-hour rental; price includes a life jacket, paddle and safety kit.
